Sizing & Fit

Care & Maintenance
Wash Perplex hoodies inside-out in cold water (30°C maximum) on a gentle cycle. Use mild detergent without fabric softener. Most importantly: line dry only—tumble drying causes significant shrinkage in cotton blends. Following these steps maintains the hoodie's shape, softness, and 640 GSM weight for years.
For zip hoodies, close the zipper before washing to protect the teeth and puller. Avoid bleach, dry cleaning, and high-heat ironing.
With proper care (cold wash, line dry), expect minimal shrinkage of under 5% on first wash. Our fabric is pre-washed during manufacturing to minimize this. Tumble drying is the primary cause of significant shrinkage—avoid it completely to maintain the original fit and 640 GSM weight.
If you accidentally tumble dry your hoodie, the shrinkage is typically permanent. We strongly recommend air drying to preserve your investment.
Premium hoodies don't need washing after every wear. We recommend washing every 5-7 wears, or when visibly soiled. Overwashing can break down fibers and cause unnecessary wear. Between washes, air out your hoodie by hanging it in a well-ventilated area.
